Fri., March 28. GINA ZOLLMAN. Born in Long Beach and raised In Garden Grove, Ms. Zollman started singing at age 6, participated in many musicals and choirs during her formative years, and presented her first one-woman show at The Gardenia over 30 years ago. She studied vocal technique with Broadway stars Marilyn Child, Udana Power, and Seth Riggs, studied acting at The Actor’s Center, and studied comedy with Second City alum Sandy Holt. She has sung in nite-spots all over the Southland…and at Carnegie Hall…and she created CD’s…but then became distracted by life. Erstwhile reviewer for The Beverly Hills Outlook, and currently living in Southern California and Washington State, she returns to The Gardenia with this show, created and performed with co-writer Kevin Fisher, based on her newest CD, ORI gina LS, singing about “love, life, and finding your way in the world.”.
