Fri. and Sat., Feb. 14 & 15.  VALENTINE’S DAY with ANDREA MARCOVICCI  No one gives romance like Marcovicci at The Gardenia,  and post-pandemic, she has been giving it even better.  Don’t let this Valentine’s Day go by without indulging yourself in that which Andrea does best— and on this most romantic weekend of the year, you won’t have a better Valentine’s Day weekend anywhere else.  For this 10^th Anniversary of her Valentine’s Day-at-The-Gardenia shows, Miss Marcovicci acknowledges Valentine’s Day Weekend, re-interpreting eclectic material for us from her 9 previous Valentine’s Day Shows, including gems from The Gershwins, Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter, Frank Loesser, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Johnny Mercer, and Kurt Weill.  Brad Ellis serves as musical director, with Nate Light on bass.

Frequently introduced as “the Queen of Cabaret,” Ms. Marcovicci transformed the genre, created over 35 nightclub acts at The Gardenia, and holds the record—an unprecedented 25 seasons—at the legendary Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel in New York City.
