DESCRIPTION:Sat.\, Aug. 19.  THERESE LEE.  The recipient of the 2023 Bistro Award for Outstanding Autobiographical Show for “Riding the Bus to the Red Carpet\,” Ms. Lee has sung (in five languages\,) in every genre from opera\, art song and The Great American Songbook to operetta and musical theater (including “Katisha” in The Mikado and “Arlene” in Baby\, among many other roles.)  She holds a BA in music from UCLA and studied acting at the British American Drama Academy\, London’s Royal National Theater Studio\, and the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum; and she has been a member of The Groundlings and the London Actor’s Centre.  She has been seen reporting from the “red carpet\,” interviewing such luminaries as George Clooney\, Matt Dillon\, John Cleese\, Carol Burnett\, and Judi Dench. \n
